you will be able to easily determine which controller you
need to order. If you are ordering a controller for a non
X-Treme brand scooter, just pick one below that best fits
your current scooters controller. Both versions have been
upgraded by X-Treme since the original controllers were produced.
Which ever version you buy, it will be our upgraded from your
original.

| FAQ Controllers: If you
are about to order a controller, first go to your scooter,
cut the zip tie holding the controller in place and
locate the Make Date on the bottom. If your make date
is 09/30/2003 order a VERSION 3 controller from our
parts page or click
here to buy now & there is no need for you to
read anything below. If your controller has make date
08/20/2003 then you must check the pictures below since
there were 2 versions of that make date and they are
not interchangeable. If you you have a version 4, go
back to our parts page and order the version 4 controller
or view it at the bottom of this page first. Version
5 is nearly identical to VER 4, look at the picture
of the throttle connector to see if yours is a VER 4
or Ver 5, then order the correct one. You must pick
the correct one, it's easy, just read below and check
the pictures. |

has a connector for the throttle that looks
exactly like Diagram 11.A. Note* The only difference
between Ver 4 & Ver 5 is this throttle connector
- Check it carefully! |
Find this
sticker in Diagram 12.A. on the bottom or side
of the controller. Get the Make Date to match
your controller. The make date will be mid 2005
or later. |

Version 4 Upgrade:
The controller in Diagram 10.A. Will have a sticker
on the front that says Upgraded Version & a
date like 8/30/2005 or later. If your controller
looks just like this, simply go to our parts page
and order our Version 5 controller or click
here to order it now.

has a connector for the throttle that looks
exactly like Diagram 8.A. |
Find this
sticker in Diagram 9.A. on the bottom or side
of the controller. Get the Make Date to match
your controller. The make date will be 11-01-2004
or later. |

Version 4 Upgrade:
The controller in Diagram 7.A. Will have a sticker
on the front that says Upgraded Version & a
date like 11/1/2004 or later. If your controller
looks just like this, simply go to our parts page
and order our Version 4 controller or click

has a connector for the throttle that looks
exactly like Diagram 2.A. It will have 4 Wires
only & one of them loops back into this
connector. |
Find this
sticker in Diagram 3.A. on controller. Find
the Make Date. The make date will say 9/30/2003
or 8/20/2003. Read below to determine which
to order for your scooter. |

VERSION 3: The controller
in Diagram 1.A. Will have a sticker on the side
or bottom that says Make Date 08-20-2003 or 09/30/2003.
This controller has 9 connectors total. (If yours
says 09/30/2003 simply order our Version 3 controller
on our parts page or Click
Here to buy now, there is no need to read any
further, & you will be shipped our upgraded
version)
This controller WILL
have a connector that is marked Anode
Negative. This controller uses a 4
wire speed control or speed regulate signal connector.
See Diagram 2.A. If yours is marked 08/20/2003 and
has the 4 pin speed regulate signal connector (throttle)
and has a wire marked Anode Negative, then simply
go to our parts page and order our Version 3 replacement
controller or to buy one now Click

has a connector for the throttle that looks exactly
like Diagram 5.A. It will have 3 Wires only and
the connector will be flat like you see in 5.A. |
Find this sticker
in Diagram 3.A. on the bottom or side of the controller.
Get the Make Date to match your controller. |

Version 2: The controller
in Diagram 4.A. Will have a sticker on the side or
bottom that says Make Date 08-20-2003. This one also
has 10 connectors total. This controller will NOT
have a connector that is marked Anode
Negative. This controller uses a 3
wire speed control or speed regulator connector.
If your controller does NOT have a connector labeled
Anode Negative and it does have a 3 wire speed regulate
signal connector as shown in Diagram 5.A., go to our
parts page and order our Version 2 controller or click

Version 3 Upgrade: The
controller in Diagram 6.A. Will have a sticker on
the front that says Upgraded Version & a date
like 5/1/2004 or 6/1/2004 or later. If your controller
looks just like this, simply go to our parts page
